3 nov.-En dan is het Requiem van Matthew Coleridge in de Sint jansbasiliek achter de rug.… wat een rijkdom! Deze musici, deze muziek, deze kerk én dit koor! Het was geweldig en honderden mensen waren daar getuige van in een volle Basiliek. Dank aan een ieder! Special thanks to Matthew Coleridge for his wonderful music and much appreciated friendship.

Well, that was special! 600+ in the audience to hear the first performance of Requiem in the Netherlands. It was an honour to conduct the wonderful koorhuys choir of Paul Snoek, who gave one of the most emotional and moving performances I’ve heard, with some amazing musicianship from Wouter van Belle, Ephraim van IJzerlooij, Merel Van Geest and Joachim Lubberts.
